  Ugh, so annoying! I walked into the store and this sales guy, probably 40-50, cleaned shaved with grey white hairs, was just chilling at a table, totally ignored me even though I was right there. I had to go find someone else. Never going back to Apple.

  Purchased an iPhone for collection today. Drove 2 hours to collect it to then be told that there was a system glitch and they no longer have the phone in stock. Then had the cheek to tell me to go onto the website and cancel my order. Absolutely disgusting. Definitely sold my phone to someone else. Advised me that they may have some coming into stock on Tuesday which is laughable if they think I will be making the 4 hour round trip again.

  어제랑 그제, 이틀에 걸쳐 애플스토어 버밍엄으로 가서 제 아이폰 15 프로 디스플레이 수리를 받고 왔습니다. 그제 애플스토어 버밍엄에서 배터리 교환 후 화면에 선이 보이는 이상현상이 생기는 바람에 어제 오후에 다시 애플스토어에 방문하여 직원 분에게 제 상황을 설명드렸습니다. 이후 다음날에 아이폰 수리를 위해 애플 버밍엄으로 기차를 타러 가는 길에, 코번트리 기차역에서 제 아이폰의 화면이 하얗게 깜빡거리는 현상이 생기게 되었다가 수리 직전에 화면의 깜빡거림이 심해져 결국 화면이 검게 변해 핸드폰 조작을 못 하는 상황이 되고 말았습니다. 그런 상태가 된 채로 수리를 맡기게 되었는데, 원래 같았으면 수리 비용이 £290이나 들었겠지만 수리 비용에 돈이 한 푼도 들지 않아서 다행이었습니다. 참고로 그제부터 어제까지 발생했던 제 아이폰의 화면 상태 악화를 생각하면 어제 바로 화면이 나가지 않고 지금까지 버틴 것이 기적에 가까웠는데, 수리를 받기 전 애플스토어에서 기다리면서 화면이 하얗게 깜빡거리는 게 심해지다가 결국 화면이 검게 변해버리는 걸 나도, 애플 지니어스 바 직원도 직접 보게 되었으니 어찌보면 다행인 셈이네요. 깜빡임이 심해진다는 것은 곧 화면이 완전히 검게 변하거나(Black Out) 조작이 불가능해질 수 있다는 뜻인데 결국 그렇게 된 상태로 수리에 들어갔습니다. 그래서 위와 같은 상황을 지니어스 바 직원에게 말씀드렸는데 £290나 달하는 수리 비용이 £0으로 처리되어 참 다행이었습니다. 비록 수리 과정에서 문제가 생겼을지 몰라도, 소비자로서의 권리를 행사했기에 제 아이폰의 디스플레이도 새 것으로 교체받아 지금은 잘 사용하고 있습니다. 애플 지니어스 바 직원 여러분께 감사의 말씀 드립니다.

  The Apple Store in Birmingham is a great place to visit, although it can get very busy at times. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist customers with any questions or issues. The store has a good atmosphere and offers excellent customer service. However, one downside is that they do not always have certain products in stock, especially popular items. Overall, it is still a great store with professional and welcoming staff.

  Apple Birmingham is located on New Street, next to Grand Central. It’s located in a large, old building, and it’s nice to see how Apple have tried to preserve and restore the old building here. The store has a nice selection of Apple products, with a small seating area, which is suitable for waiting for appointments, or if you want to take a break while in the city, and use the WiFi, making it a good choice to relax, wait for appointments, or take a breather in the city, as well as purchasing and get support for Apple products. I do find it frustrating that the store closes at 7 pm, as many other big stores nearby stay open until 8. Apple's modern design and technology, and the architecture of the old building, provide a beautiful juxtaposition, making this a unique and memorable Apple Store, which I would return to on future trips to Birmingham.
